Children's sauna sessions


The main goal of taking sauna is detoxification, ie flushing out toxins and unwanted substances from the body. At the same time, high temperature and subsequent cooling are the great training for the immune system, which better resists disease and cold. This is the best, and when keeping the basic rules, also a completely safe way to increase your child's natural immunity. It has been shown that children visiting sauna are more resistant to flu, various colds and respiratory diseases.

You will teach your child to take care of his/her own body and thus gain the best habits for the future life thanks to regular sauna visits. In addition, family ties are strengthened in the sauna, a child-parent relationship is built. You will have a lot of fun together for sure.

Proper sauna procedure:

  • Cleansing - before entering the sauna, the child takes a shower, wash his/her face and hair with lukewarm water.
  • Sauna - when staying in the sauna, keep an eye on the child all the time. If your child does not feel well or restless, leave the sauna. The length of stay in the sauna should not exceed 8 minutes. The air temperature in the Finnish sauna is reduced to 60-70 ° C during the children's sauna.
  • Cooling - a short cooling with lukewarm water or in the fresh air in the outdoor zone is sufficient.
  • Rest - the child dries and wraps himself/herself in a sheet. Give him/her plenty of fluids and let him/her rest.

The special event not only for children takes place every even week on Sunday from 10:00 to 11:45 in Forum Romanum Wellness.

Children's sauna is intended for children under 15 years of age, accompanied by a responsible person over 18 years of age or parents.
